Inner City Health Center is a private, non-profit, health care facility,
which employs a combination of volunteer and paid health professionals.
The staff is committed to improve the health and to provide motivation
and information for the prevention of illness for low-income and
medically uninsured families in a private health care setting. Our
services are provided on a sliding fee basis so no one is refused
care on the basis of inability to pay.
· The Inner City Health Center (ICHC), a private nonprofit
501 (c)(3), located in the Five Points Neighborhood of Denver, opened
their doors in December of 1983.
· In May 2001, Inner City Health Center opened New Hope Dental
Services (on the campus of St. Anthony Central Hospital), its first
satellite office, to further meet the dental needs of the poor and
uninsured.
· The services provided include adult medical, pediatric,
prenatal, counseling, and dental care.
· The philosophy of combining volunteer and paid staff has
built a bridge between the inner city and suburban communities.
