Sherry Delaney
Sister Sherry Delaney began her walk in service for health care awareness during her eight years of service with the Zion Temple Church Health Professionals Auxiliary. She served as the president of the auxiliary during the last four of her eight years of service, and under her direction the auxiliary began hosting annual educational/spiritual and medical resource programs for the congregation and community.
Sherry is a native of Denver and is the mother of two grown children daughter Regina (husband Lawrence) and son Gregg. Sherry is also the proud grandmother of three grand daughters her “name sake" Sherre, Nya, Shanye and grandson Nevin. Her passion is singing and her heart is to serve God who has blessed her to do both for his Glory.
Sherry volunteers for many nonprofit organizations. She is currently on the board of Inner City Health Center, and serves on committees for Congregational Health Ministry, March of Dimes Colorado Chapter Program Service Committee-Denver Division, Aurora Healthier Beginnings, Advisory Council of Congregational Health Ministry, March of Dimes-African American Pre Maturity Summit, Stapleton Foundation Partners for Healthy Living, African American Initiative Committee for the American Diabetes Association, Komen Denver Multicultural Diversity Outreach Advisory Committee and the Komen African American Breast Education Committee.
