Edward K. Wekesser

Ed Wekesser spent the 25 years as an entrepreneur and the last ten years as a business consultant to owners/CEOs and has been a member of the Inner City Health Center board since 2008. Ed was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and moved to Denver 40 years ago. Ed is married to my wife of 37 years they have two children and four grandchildren. In his free time Ed enjoys playing with his grandchildren, attending church activities, and doing some traveling. 

Ed was inspired to become a board member of Inner City Health Center because he was looking for a place that served the weaker/more helpless of our society with and through the love of Christ. A few years ago Ed spent a couple of weeks in Central Asia getting to know a little bit about its people, culture and faith. While he was learning he was able to provide encouragement to friends, faithful emissaries of God who are making this area their home away from home. Ed has served as an elder in two separate churches for a total of 25 years, taught numerous Sunday morning and other Bible studies, and served on the boards of Denver Area Youth For Christ and the Worth Waiting For.
